The main EVO 2019 events will be broadcast across 10 main Twitch channels this year. 9 out of 10 are official EVO-run streams, with the main stream again being used for The Jump Off broadcast. The Jump Off bounces between each games’ ongoing matches, picking out the best of the best and replaying upsets as it’s able. Capcom’s official Twitch channel will be reserved for Street Fighter 5 action. For viewers interested in specific games, EVO does its best to keep game to a single stream. Some jumping around will be required for the less popular titles, however.

As mentioned, all nine major games will be available to watch as part of EVO 2019’s Friday livestreams. Only one game will have its final round on Friday, however. Four more will follow on Saturday, with four to wrap up EVO 2019 on Sunday:

Friday

Soul Calibur 6 - 8:00 PM PDT

Saturday

Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st] - 10:00 AM PDT

Dragon Ball FighterZ - 12:00 PM PDT

Samurai Shodown - 4:00 PM PDT

Sunday

Street Fighter 5 - 12:00 PM PDT

Tekken 7 - 3:30 PM PDT

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - 7:00 PM PDT

All finals for EVO 2019’s 9 main games will be shown on the event’s main stream at Twitch.com/EVO. Note that Dragon Ball FighterZ’s top 8 won’t begin until 1:00 PM PDT on Saturday, but the broadcast is set to start at noon.

The main EVO livestreams will also be hosting several sidestream finals this year, perhaps due to partnerships with specific publishers and developers. These finals, all hosted on Saturday, will include the finals for games including Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Windjammers, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2.

EVO 2019’s other half, AnimeEVO, will also be out in force for EVO 2019. 31 different AnimeEVO games will be holding tournaments this weekend. While, obviously, not all of these games will be able to be streamed, the AnimeEVO community has grouped up to provide as robust of coverage as it’s able.

5 Anime Evo games will hold their finals on Friday, including Catherine, Puyo Puyo Champions, and Hokoto no Ken. On Saturday, over a dozeen additional games will conclude their own tournaments on-stream. Those games will include Persona 4 Arena Ultimate, King of Fighters 14, Melty Blood, and many more.

While AnimeEVO may never be as popular as the main EVO events, they can still have some of the most dramatic and exciting moments of the weekend. For fighting game fans, checking out an AnimeEVO tournament is worth the effort.

There is, of course, so much more than the main EVO games and AnimeEVO going on this weekend. There will be the after-hours Marvel Salty Suite money matches, XSeed Games’s announcement stream on Saturday at 1:00 PM PDT, side tournaments aplenty, and so much more. It’s the biggest tournament event in the world not just because of viewership, but because of how thousands of fighting game fans come together to create something special.
