For former Johnson C. Smith basketball player Brey Dorsett, the movie turned from a beloved romance/drama to a reality. It starts by playing an all-too-similar one-on-one scene with her boyfriend, former N.C. State basketball player, Alex Johnson.

At the :33 second mark, Johnson falls to the ground with what Dorsett believes to be an injury. To her surprise, he was faking the injury entirely, only to get up on one knee with a ring in his hand and a proposal in mind.
